The British auto-maker Aston Martin is going to be joining other luxury auto makers such as Porsche, Maserati, and Jaguar who have all released their new 4 door luxury sport sedans. The Aston Martin Rapide is a high performance 4 door luxury sport sedan based on the popular DB9.  The Rapide is a concept car that was originally announced in 2006.  Aston Martin is set to have them in production for the 2010 model year at 2,000 units per year.  The car will sport a 6.0 L V12 engine, goes 0-60 in 5 seconds, and includes all of the luxury and style you can expect from Aston Martin.  Perhaps we’ll be seeing this as the next Bond car.
