For a long time now I’ve wanted a motorcycle, particularly a Triumph.  The British bike maker (one of the oldest in the world) has recently announced their new 2011 range of motorcycles. A few notable additions to the range are the new Thunderbird Storm (above), Speedmaster, and America.  The bikes are all slimmed down for a more streamlined look but with all the power you want in a hot rod cruiser. The Thunderbird Storm has the same chassis as the award-winning Thunderbird, with more power as standard and a harder edged and more distinctive look. Triumph has also decided to take a page out of Henry Ford’s book, you can have the new Thunderbird Storm in any color as long as it’s black (jet black or matte black (above) to be more specific).  Needless to say it would be awesome to ride any of these modern classics from Triumph.  Price has yet to be announced.

These days when going green is becoming increasingly important and gas prices being sky high more and more people are switching to bikes for their commute. The British auto-maker Aston Martin is going to be joining other luxury auto makers such as Porsche, Maserati, and Jaguar who have all released their new 4 door luxury sport sedans. The Aston Martin Rapide is a high performance 4 door luxury sport sedan based on the popular DB9.  The Rapide is a concept car that was originally announced in 2006.  Aston Martin is set to have them in production for the 2010 model year at 2,000 units per year.  The car will sport a 6.0 L V12 engine, goes 0-60 in 5 seconds, and includes all of the luxury and style you can expect from Aston Martin.  Perhaps we’ll be seeing this as the next Bond car.
