Restoration Hardware 1859 Map of Italy

Yes, it costs nearly $2,000 but after my time living in Italy this will definitely be $2,000 I won’t mind spending. I’ll probably be purchasing this before a couch. Never said I was the smartest guy.

SodaStream Pure Soda Maker
Posted on June 27th, 2011 | Home | $129.99 at SodaStream

So this clearly is not a necessary item for a modern gentleman’s home but it would make a very cool addition to your kitchen and not a bad toy to entertain guests with. The SodaStream Pure Soda Maker takes a reusable bottle of regular tap water and turns it into carbonated soda water with just a few pushes of the bottle. The SodaStream also offers a variety of familiar flavors that can be mixed with the carbonated water to make 50 8oz. servings of your favorite beverage. Fun, healthy and less costly than constantly buying bottle and cans of soda in your local grocery store. It’s slim and sleek stainless steel design looks great on a counter top and is small enough to store away when necessary. A bit pricey at $129.99 but there are several slightly less expensive options and the fun makes it well worth the expense. The flavors taste pretty darn good too.

Screen shot 2010-04-09 at 9.10.11 PMPreviously on Inside Thread we showed you the Christow Cigar Stand and Box by Ralph Lauren. Well somehow we continue to stumble upon the coolest designer cigar accessories out there.  This 150 cigar humidor from Louis Vuitton is made from Mahogany with Macassar ebony veneer finish and pear tree wood accents, it is accented with LV’s signature Monogram inlay, and has a Credo humidification system, hygrometer.  The price tag may be a bit steep for most but it might very well be the greatest humidor I’ve ever seen.  So for those of you who want to keep your cigar collection in a designer humidor that puts all others to shame head over to Louis Vuitton and grab one of these. (They also make a 75 cigar box)

No longer, today, can a man pull off a cheap desk bought from OfficeMax or Staples and call it stylish. In our book that just doesn’t fly. West Elm has created the Sawhorse Worktable, which is a perfect alternative to that ugly metal desk you might have sitting in your office now. It comes with a huge tabletop for doing all of your work on or putting a computer on and sports a flush-looking desk drawer that elegantly blends into the rest of the desk when pushed it. It stands on two sawhorse legs, which give it a unique look for a desk that simply won’t be found elsewhere. Must buy if you’re in the market for new furniture.
